Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) plagues soldiers from all over the world. PTSD is a mental health problem that affects people who have been in extremely stressful situations like almost getting killed or being held prisoner. People who have PTSD can never really relax, have a hard time sleeping and have a ton of unpleasant memories. This disorder makes life harder for the victim and the victim’s family.
Therapy sessions can often treat PTSD, but there have been anecdotes of marijuana helping victims of PTSD. Marijuana allows PTSD patients to relax and take it easy, and this is probably what a patient of this disorder requires. In many instances, people have tried marijuana to help treat their PTSD and have found very positive results, improving the quality of life for both the patient and their families.
Watch as three different soldiers from three different generations with PTSD try marijuana. One of them has been in therapy for 20 years and has come to terms with the fact that he’ll be affected by it for the rest of his life.
The youngest one of them mentions living with anxiety and always living in fear for no apparent reason, yet after smoking a little, he felt completely at peace.
Could marijuana truly be the cure to PTSD?
